Here’s a few pictures from the Tranny Awards presentation (thanks Willie!):

So this is a little bit of a recap of the evening. It started with a red carpet interview with sexy porn superstar Danielle Foxxx. I admit I felt pretty intimidated seeing the set up in front of the club when I first drove by. But once I got my nerve up and started talking with her I felt a little more at ease.

Overall it was a pretty fun night. Krissy ended up presenting me the award and gave a really gracious and warm introduction. I thought of a lot of things that I wanted to say but blanked out once I was on stage and basically just thanked Trixie for all the hard work she puts into our sites. Let’s just say public speaking is not really my forte. I had a nice time hanging out with Krissy. She’s one of the people I’ve been wanting to meet in real life for a long time.

There were so many beautiful woman there and some pretty sexy guys as well. I think I could have sat and people watched all night long. Unfortunately I was pretty tired from doing an early shoot and not really working at maximum capacity. I’m kind of socially retarded as it is so I didn’t get to introduce myself to a lot of the girls that I would liked to have met. The music was so loud that I was having problems hearing what people were saying anyway.

I did get to talk with Mandy briefly and say hi to her mischievous friend Kimberly Kills, who has really been grabbing the ts porn scene by the balls lately. Felicia Katt was kind enough to introduce herself and point out a few people to me. I also had a nice chat with Aly Sinclair who was mercilessly cock teasing some poor cute boy. She was also generous enough to extend an invitation for after party festivities. But, as I mentioned, I was pretty beat by that time. I think I said a quick hi to Britney Markham and Jesse Flores, bumped butts with Kinky Kennedy Logan and Natalia Coxx, and watched Morgan Bailey do some creative accessorizing with glow sticks.

Standing on stage next to Olivia Love is something I will remember and cherish forever. She is such a classy lady, incredibly beautiful and sexy. The work she has done in transsexual porn will be remembered and jerked to for years to come. Personally I hope she decides to continue working for my own selfish reasons.

On the other end of the spectrum it was sweet to share the stage with the up and coming Amy Daly though I didn’t really get a chance to say hello. I loved her half cocked acceptance speech complete with a double finger salute! That had me grinning from ear to ear. And Hazel Tucker just has an aura about her that glows with sweetness. I didn’t get a chance to say hi, but I think she caught me making googly eyes at her a few times.

It was nice to meet some of the Grooby family as well – Owner Steve Gallon, P.K. Vegas, Buddy Wood – all were really friendly and had nice things to say.

I think my favorite part of the evening though was just meeting fans. It’s so rare that I really meet anyone who has seen any of my work. So to have people recognize me and come up and say that I really deserve the award or they love what I do face to face really meant a lot to me.

So many people and so little time. I would like to once again extend a congratulation to all the award winners and to Grooby for pulling off a fabulous evening! I hope next year is even bigger and better!!!

Last week I had a yet another laser hair removal session on my face and neck area. They’ve been getting more and more intense since we’re going after the more stubborn areas. So for the first time since I started two years ago I actually got a bit of a burn between my lower lip and chin. It’s not too bad and looks like it will be fully healed by the end of the week. It wasn’t sore at all but it was was oozing pus for a few days and scabbed up a bit. It looked like I had a little soul patch for a couple of days and I had to stay out of the sun, which wasn’t a problem because I didn’t really want to go out with some ridiculous looking soul patch scab on my face. Next time I think I’ll have them kick it down a notch.

I wanted to send out a big congratulations my friend Mandy who has made the move to the big leagues. Her new site Mandy-Mitchell.com went live over the weekend. She’ll be working with the same people who run  TS Jesse, Kimber James, Kelly Shore, Sexxxy Jade and a slew of other great sites.  She’ll no longer be updating her old site but her old webmaster is going to keep it active as an archive. It looks like most of her older content has been moved to the new site in addition to some really hot newer content. If you are a fan of Mandy be sure to check it out!

Well we had a pretty good trip down to Portland last week. I was hoping to shoot again with Mandy but she was out of town (missed her by one day). I was also hoping to shoot with Krissy but she got sick and had to cancel. But I did get a clean bill of health from my Doc, which is the whole reason we were down there in the first place. We were also able to get caught up on some more solo content. We shot 3 videos and 4 picture sets, including the schoolgirl pics from above, while we were there. So we made pretty good use of our time.

Every time we’ve been down to Portland I always wish we had more time to just hang out and explore. I think we probably would have done a bit more of that but my back started acting up. It’s been feeling much better lately but I think walking around and standing on the hard concrete irritated it a bit. I think I also have a hard time relaxing when I know I could/should be doing work related things. It’s really hard for me to keep it all separated sometimes.

The AVN recently announced it’s nominations for the 2009 AVN Adult Movie Awards. While I don’t really follow what’s going on in the adult video world as much as I probably should, there are a couple of nominees that I am pulling for in the transsexual categories this year.

One of the people I think deserves some recognition is Wendy Williams, the self proclaimed “red headed step child” of the adult transsexual industry. She is one of hardest working girls out there and has really done a lot to expand the shemale genre in adult films. This is the fourth year in a row that she has been nominated for an award and has been nominated in two categories, Transsexual Performer of the Year and Best TS Release for Shemale Gangbang: The Interracial Version. So I’m hoping that this will be the year that she finally brings home an award. Here’s her youtube video about the AVNs.

Another nomination in the Best TS Release that I would like to see win is Buddy Wood’s Shemale Cuties Who Love It Up Their Booties featuring our friend the lovely Mandy Mitchell.

Since the AVN has been pretty limited in their recognition of transsexuals in the adult industry, this year Grooby Productions, the creators of such sites as ShemaleYum, Brazillian Transsexuals, and Shemale Japan just to name a few, will be hosting the Tranny Awards. It’s exciting to me because they have included a “Best Amateur TG website” category that I’m hoping to get a nomination. There are a few other websites out there that are similar to mine that would also fit into this category, but I like to think my site is unique and deserves recognition for all the hard work I put into it. I’ve never won an award in my life so I’m not getting my hopes up too high now. But if you want to see me nominated you can stop by the site and cast your vote me and all your other favorites!

I was so excited yesterday when I got an email from Krissy from Krissy4U.com announcing that she would be donating 5% of her December sales to my boob and ffs fund. Krissy is from Portland and runs her own independent tg website like me. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does and it shows. It’s such a great feeling to be getting that kind of support from within the industry especially from someone in the same little niche that we both occupy. Here in Washington State a lot of counties (including ours) are now switching over to voting by mail. I’ve had my ballot for over a week now and I’ll be filling it out this afternoon. I think you’d have to be living under a rock not to recognize the significance of this election. I’m not going to run down the whole list of why I’m voting Obama and a straight Democratic ticket. There is just nothing about John McCain or the Republican party in it’s current manifestation that doesn’t make my skin crawl. Just remember that every vote counts. Just because things look really good for Obama right now doesn’t mean you don’t need to cast your ballot. The greater the margin of victory the clearer the message is and the stronger the mandate. So get out (or stay home) and VOTE!!!
